Hello,

Did this problem start before you upgraded to the latest version of Logicity? Did it start right after you upgraded?

I was getting this same error with a report I had just created. My report did not have any tables defined in the main report, instead it would call several sub reports and the main report only contained header/footer definitions with the subreports in detail sections.

After I selected a dummy table in the main report and created a dummy selection that would return no records, I added a field to a new detail section and it worked fine. No more errors...

I'm using Crystal 2008.

I later found that the SQL selection on the main report must return at least 1 record in a detail section, otherwise Logicity will not generate a report.

Still... in my case the "invalid report file path" error was corrected by inserting a SQL statement in the main report.

finally got to try this out, and it works!!! all I had to do was link a table. didn't select on it, or put a field in report.

thank you VERY much! :D
